To continue on with my thoughts... I had a comment thrown at me in regards to salary caps being one step higher than a job at Mcdonalds. Let's talk about this.
Yes, there are some very important jobs within our civil service sector.
But where has the value for these jobs come from?
Is the job of a mother raising her child not just as important? Can you put a value on that?
Is a job at Mcdonalds that bad? I'm sure the person working there is serving the people who make 100K plus a year. By the way for anyone working in the private sector working for minimum wage is not enough. How many federal employees work for 10 dollars or less per hour? The private sector is not funded by tax payers.
How can you justify publicly paid jobs which earn more than 100k per year?
The tax payers who collectively pay for these jobs on average earn less than half of that salary.
Let's be real. This is only one man's thoughts. And I may be so far left or right with my thoughts, but we need to rethink and revisit all aspects of spending and government reform.
Have we become so trained by our current method of government that we are not willing or capabale of independant thought..??
I live by the theory, that if it makes moral sense and good fair business sense its most likley a good idea..
LETS BE ACCOUNTABLE!! That's my point.
